Look what turned up in the post. No, not the tomato. The book and cutting are right up my alley as the sender Glassroad knows. She has a great eye for choosing the perfect present - all the way from Western Australia to southern France.

I was delighted to go down to the potager and pick the twin tomato of that in the article. And yes, the old varieties may be less than perfect-looking, but my, do they taste delicious.
