Little fly on lilac flower

Popped out to the garden for a quick blip today and this little fly was most obliging, he is best seen large (L).

By popping a piece of worktop on top of a removal crate that we grabbed from storage we managed to make a table, at the right level for the deck chairs, on which to rest our cups of tea. You would be amazed how much more comfortable that has made us feel!

We also ordered super fast broadband today and should have it by the 9th October. That will make life much easier while at the house as we keep needing to look things up and the mobile signal is not strong enough for the internet. We met two more neighbours today which was lovely. Kitchen man popping round tomorrow!
