!! Celebrations !!

This lovely pair are heading off to Australia tomorrow and will be celebrating their marriage on Monday.

L has worked with us for nearly three years and so we couldn't let her slip off without giving her and D all the appropriate blessings, so we invited them into work for lunch today. Being lunchtime at school we couldn't toast them in wine but we made the most of the orange juice and sparkling grape juice.

One of the staff had a lovely cake made for them and we had the traditional cake cutting ceremony. I took plenty of photos of the event but in the end I like this one the best, just the two of them on the verandah afterwards.

L and D, I wish you everything you hope for from your marriage. you deserve the years of happiness ahead. I'm looking forward to hearing about your first two weeks of married life when you return.
