Autumn Leaves in Spring?

The Privet Trees in the garden loose their leafs only in September every year, eish! Charmaine keeps on sweeping and they just fall behind her again! Fristrating! This leave got torn at the top, and now looks like a heart ...... or is it the tree's heart? Truly hope not, then he's going to die now! ;-(
