Such a bittersweet sight which matches my day.

I had to say “farewell” to the two lovely rental lenses that I have had the pleasure of using for the last couple of weeks. The 16-35mm is definitely my favorite and will be the lens that I purchase next.

I ran across this abandoned fence post several days ago, but came back here earlier today to take a few photos. I quickly took the shots, then headed for the airport for a flight to Reno. My client needed me to take care of some documents immediately. So, with a bit of trepidation, I said a bittersweet farewell to J, leaving him to fend for himself for a few days. My connecting flight ran 3 hours late so I didn't arrive in Reno until very late.

J’s condition is about the same. He has seen several doctors who have differing diagnoses, but keep referring him on to others. He is scheduled to see the next specialist next week.
