Action shot!

This ball was actually for Ivy's birthday, but we got it today and Euan wanted to give it to Ivy early. She was very impressed and was bouncing it all over the kitchen. We'll work on learning to kick and roll soon.

Pretty standard day today, we just stayed in the house and hid from the rotten weather and did many loads of washing, until Euan came home when we all went to tesco. Ivy got 5 out of her 6 basket suggestions, including some a packet of reduced mushrooms and some tagetelle. She even tried to suggest to some visitors to the village for Loopaul (one of which turned out to also be an Ivy) that they really needed some spaghetti.

We put her in her new pjamas from Granny Grant for bed. With pink pjs, her pink sleeping bag and a pink toothbrush she looked very girly girly. Couldn't get her to stop dancing about for a good photo. She actually opened her mouth to let Euan brush her teeth tonight which is big progress. We've started letting her look at herself in the mirror as she brushes.

She didn't want to go to sleep tonight, which was bad as Euan and I were trying to tidy up the house for her birthday tomorrow. Eventually after more than 2 hours of trying, Euan put her in the car (in a sleeping bag with a carseat strap gap) and took her for a drive. Which gave me a chance to start cutting out fruit.

Loopalu is on just now. It's much louder at our house than last year, must be the direction of the wind. Euan and I stood in the garden and listened to the undertones playing 'my perfect cousin Kevin'.
