Everyday I Write The Book

Some days you just can't choose ...

... Just one image. So here's a little "grid of the day".

Had a fantastic morning at the Bread Ahead bakery school learning h ow to make bread - one of my many lovely birthday presents from TSM. It's in Borough Market near London Bridge and I can't recommend it too highly. The finished product tasted awesome.

Felafal wrap for lunch from the market; then coffee in The Globe. Then I went to see Aged P and TSM went home. Back in London (long day this) I did a one man pub crawl and got so drunk I kissed Winston Churchill before meeting TSM. Met TSM, our mate Maud and friends for birthday dinner in a really quirky little Thai restaurant in Soho called The Thai Cottage.

Great day. London was at its buzzy best in the late summer warmth. A very fine day indeed ...

PS I didn't really get drunk - I went to two pubs, had a total of one and a half pints of beer, and did a lot of people watching in Mayfair and Soho. But I did kiss Winston - there is a famous statue in New Bond Street of him and Roosevelt sitting on a park bench together.
