Good luck mate!
We rescued this wee guy from a couple of crows down the beach this morning.
They were pecking away at him and he couldn't fly.
We managed to pick him up no problem - I think he was just delighted to get away from his attackers.
Anyway, we got him home* and noticed an injury under his left wing.
After letting him rest a while in the garden it was obvious he was going nowhere fast so we called the SSPCA and he's now on his way to their Wildlife Rescue Centre near Alloa.
The SSPCA officer reckons he is a fully grown adult and once the wound has healed he'll be released at a beach somewhere :-)
The boys' homework projects are finally finished - yeehaa!
My brother has an allotment round the corner so we nipped round there this morning also to grab some photos of sprout plants that will be ready for Christmas :-)
*Yeah the journey back up the road with the gull was interesting.
I had the gull, Max had the camera and Barney's ball while Luca was bringing Barney.
Half way home a cat decided to stride up and say hello!
Of all the times to pick.
So, I also had to help with Barney (who was also very interested in the cat and the gull!) as we passed.
The cat then decided to run after us - crazy - it must've looked a funny sight - 2 young boys, a large greyhound and a guy carrying a seagull being chased up the road by a small cat :-)
