Aylesbury: Ancient & Modern

Had to go down the town to pick up my new specs so thought I may as well take a few shots. This is looking at the Cafes, the Old County Offices, the New County Offices, the Judges Lodgings, the rear of the Court & the side of the Corn Exchange. I believe the building lower right is to be demolished in the near future. Lets hope its not propping up the Corn Exchange.

At 12.45am C had a call from N to say there was something in her house other than her & that it was making a fluttering noise. She couldn't go down as she was scared. R was on his Stag weekend & so Mr Muggins (or yours truly) had to drive around there at 1am to investigate. Didn't find anything so I wasn't best pleased....at least there were no burglars !
I believe it was the balloons she had at the bottom of the stairs which were gently bumping into one another and making an unfamiliar noise....kids eh ?....mind you she is 31 !

Picked up specs & had a slight wander around then spoke to mum for 20minutes.

C is pruning again....warm & mild day but cloudy.
