Sun drenched purple azalea

I am not used to taking pictures of flowers but until the trees grow some leaves and the grass turns green again, I thought I would take on the challenge of a new photographic subject. I am finding the bright sunlight on the white petals to be difficult to capture. Here is todays attempt.
