Pressed Oak Leaves

In a craft shop recently I found a gadget for pressing flowers using a microwave oven. After a bit of practice and trial and error I'm getting the hang of the procedure so this could be the start of a new series.

I found these oak leaves on the forest walk yesterday and pressed them in the machine then photographed them on a sheet of pastel paper.
