Sleepover

A and her friend C had a sleepover at our house, complete with lots of playtime, a trip to Dairy Queen for dipped cones, and a movie at bedtime, snuggled up on the couch in their sleeping bags. They stayed up WAY too late, but they had fun.

E and I had a couple of fun outings earlier in the day, too, including meeting up with a friend of mine from grad school and meeting her new baby, and meeting my parents and their good friends for a delicious Thai lunch. After picking A up from school, we spent several hours basking in the sunshine - riding bikes, drawing on the pavement with chalk, and enjoying the school playground.

All in all, a pretty spectacular Friday!
