Fox House, Birdsall, North Yorkshire

Today was perfect in many ways, the weather crisp and clear, blue skies, and most importantly the whole day spent working together. Chainsaw packed in the back of the people/log carrier, and off to do some extreme sticking. We set off on our tour of the area, Bugthorpe, Kirby Underdale, Uncleby, Thixendale, Birdsall, past Pick Sharp farm and found this place, Fox House hidden down a chalk track.
Not a clue as to it's history, if any-one has any info, please let me know.
After a sneaky look around, after all the sign did say private, we moved on down the road to The Jolly Farmers at Leavening, quick buttie and pint and home to chop logs and watch our family of hens, geese and Bessy the turkey. Evening, we watched " My big fat gypsy wedding" As I say "perfect day"
