Mum
My therapy, I try to do the flowers.
Today has been a day of reflection, not that any other day isn't, tiz just that this day is the 1st anniversary of my Mum moving on to pastures new.
I sat holding her hand -on and off- for the best part of three days.
She wanted to go, she said she had had enough, recent years had seen her loose her husband and then suffer a lot of pain due to Osteoporosis.
The tears I have shed are selfish, my loss, her gain, I tried to tell her everything I needed her to know, I will never know whether she could hear my last words, I can only hope so.
Just in case there is ever any doubt.
I love my Mum and always will.
