Bird's Eye View

Of the Plaza on a sunny Tuesday arvo! Kids playing, riding bikes, scooters, kicking balls, probably totally oblivious to what's happening in the city.

Peaceful protesting continues into its 4th day and more will join tomorrow ... It's a public holiday for China National Day. The fireworks have been cancelled, the mood will be less than celebratory. Jon, with a bunch of his friends went to see the crowds in Admiralty. I hope I can venture out there too!

Another pottering around the house day. Martin had to work from home and many schools on the Island were closed for day 2 of protests! And as there's a 2 day public holiday plus the boys have Friday off, they'll have had the WHOLE week off.

Took a pic of these innocent souls enjoying a leisurely afternoon after I'd been to look young again get my hair sorted.

Great to have Martin home after his trip.
