We have a wonderful patch of these on the roadside not very far from the house.

The Manx name is Cleaysh voddee I was warned as a child that these orange/red berries are very poisonous. Indeed when you look at them they have an ominous overtone.

This almost exactly mirrors my day spent shifting soil around the new vegetable patch whilst the weather remained dry.
