To Cross Over

I told you the sad tale of the closing of the Victorian swing bridge in my blip of 28th February.

Happily the bridge re-opened for traffic yesterday evening. The swing mechanism has had to be completely refurbished and the ineffectual work that was completed in earlier years has had to be corrected.

So now it is resplendent with a new coat of paint and I hope it will now continue to give many years service.
