Majestic in flames

Majestic ballroom... It has been a few things over the years, including a nightclub and famous bingo hall. In the past few years the company that owned it did it up and it's been empty awaiting fancy shops to rent it out.

Last night ten crews of fire fighters from all over West Yorkshire were at the scene putting the fire out. Apparently it is only the roof of the building that has been seriously damaged.

This is the view this morning with all the roads around the area closed. It had an eerie calm to the site this morning, with plenty of firefighters still hanging round making sure everything is safe.
