Street art

I am not normally a he fan of the street statues that seem to appear in all tourist destinations nowadays. This bloke in Bath however had really worked at it and impressed.
Two particular things - although you can't see it clearly ni the image there was water running from his bottle into the can he is holding and it kept running. He must have set up some kind of pump. Secondly he was balanced at a ridiculous angle - presumably with some supporting arm inside the trousers - to the extent that you couldn't quite believe he was staying there.
The whole centre of Bath is a great place to perambulate. Restaurants spreading out onto the pavement and a magnificent cheese shop in a classic Georgian terrace are just two reasons that make it a very civilized way to live. Pleased to see that DS#2 does appreciate it and is living in a very decent house towards the edge of town. It will be interesting to see that house after a year of nine students living in it.
Lunch with little sister was, as ever, a feast and too much was eaten by one and all. Afterwards it was back to Cheltenham and another attempt to eat away at the pile of our stuff that resides in my mother's garage. Relatively successful but there is still a fair old pile remaining. Will they be those boxes that we never open as certainly we haven't really missed anything that I am aware of.
