Evergreen Stone.
I realized that my schedule today is not going to yield a freshly caught Blip. So I went back into the archives of previously unpublished Blip material and found this one from the day I visited Gropiushaus here. After all the hard industrial details that make up Bauhaus architecture it was rather refreshing to notice this subtle shadow of an evergreen projected crisply onto one of the slate flagstones leading up to Gropius' front door. It made me think of the fossilized remains of some long-dead critter preserved for eternity in the mud of a receding lake and petrified over millenia.
