Clematis 'Niobe'

After a rainy afternoon, spotted this clematis showing its approval of the September sunshine by repeat flowering. It shares a west-facing gable wall with a very well established climbing hydrangea and a spring flowering Clematis macropetala Lagoon which is pale blue and quite prolific. Niobe has problems with insects (including earwigs) munching round the edge of its petals but this one hasn't been visited yet!!!
