October already!

I actually didn't realize that it was October until i had to write the date down on a form.

So to update on the boys- Marley has recovered from his tummy bug but hes still pretty tired, seems to have really taken it out of him. Kanye is still pretty chesty but its lessening each day- he of course is quite grumpy and tired still. Harper is a miserable sick little poppet. His fever seems to be the thing hat affecting him the most, hes on regular panadol and nurofen as well as antibiotics.

Today though i finally got to do some activities with the boys, i dressed them warmly and let them head outside, i thought the sun and fresh air would do them good.

I did a great activity with them using salt, you literally just add a few drops of colour to salt and it turns into what looks like sand. I set up a beach scene which you can see here. They loved it and spent a long time doing it.

After that Marley wanted to catch bugs, he found this centipede and used his new magnifying glass to look at him and attempt to count his legs. Unfortunately the bug catcher wasn't secure enough for the centipede and he got out. I love that Marley loves bugs and exploration.

In the afternoon i decided to take them all out of the house, we went in the car to feed the ducks, there were more seagulls than ducks though the boys thought is was pretty funny that all the seagulls were on mums car making a big mess.

When we got back they were pretty tired again so watched a movie, really hoping they get their energy levels back soon, i still have so many activities i want to do with them.
