Paediatric dentist

Fancy waiting room hey? It was very child oriented which is great, Mar immediately gravitated to the xbox.

Mar had his dentist appointment at the paediatric dentist, i think he and i were both nervous after the last encounter with the crabby dentist at the community dental clinic.

But this place was calm and peaceful, the dentist was amazing- i just wanted to hug her.

She was so lovely and Mar wasn't at all afraid, she talked him through what she was doing, she gave him a mirror for him to see, he was incredible because she was calm and didn't immediately rush in.

They had a wee booster seat for him to sit on the dentist chair and they have despicable me playing on the ceiling tv.

He opened his mouth wide and she was able to look at all his teeth and she tried to get an xray but he couldn't quite manage it.

So she said that we'll come back and sedate him, if they can do the filling under sedation that's excellent but if they cant she'll be happy if they can just get an xray.

So we have an appointment for November.

They were so friendly and awesome. I walked away feeling supported and not ashamed, i left feeling like they would take car of my baby not put him - us down.

Marley and Kanye went to my mums for the day so i was able to spend a lot of time taking care of Harper who is still poorly, his fever came back today and he didn't know what to do with himself. 3 naps later he seems to be a bit better.

Lovely afternoon with the sun shining- could have done with it earlier today trying to dry my washing but hey its proving for a beautiful dinner time sitting in the sun.
