House of Peace

This dilapidated house, at the western point of the cliffs above Shag Rock, has been badly and sadly affected by the earthquakes. The property is red zoned and the house is red stickered, which means that the property isn't safe for a dwelling and that the house will be demolished. It definitely fits the Thursday challenge, Derelict.

Owned by Cotter family for many years, this house is a landmark, and is a visible symbol of the devastation that the earthquakes have caused. It was named House of Peace
