The young woman in the hat.
Outside the One-2-One Cafe on Ponsonby Road, two young women sat enjoying a Thursday evening glass of wine. I went past on my run. It was truly dreich. Bleak, cold, and damp rather than wet. I saw little else to capture my fancy.
On my way back to the apartment, I decided to chance a photo of them. They saw me: one kept looking and smiling; the other turned her head away.
I then approached them showing them my camera. Introduced myself and asked if they minded that I had taken their photograph, and explained about blip. I also explained why I took their photo; I said that I take photos of people sitting outside cafes. I showed them the photo, and both Jaspreet (in the hat) and Bella approved of it.
I have come back to this and cropped it to enhance the main subjects.
Tonight is a two daughter, two grand boys, two (grand)parents meal of take away pizza with wine and video.
Tomorrow C and the boys travel to Sydney to visit the Tsuken family for a few days.
This is another Ponsonby Road photo, and a cafe photo. It is better large.
