Last February I went to a concert at the Crocodile Rock in Allentown. This is one of the bands that performed that day. Their name is Palisades and they are a group that doesn’t really have a genre, but they play whatever kind of music they want to. Their originality hasn’t caught on to many people yet because people think it is strange. I think that their music is really catchy. In this picture are Lou and Aaron. Lou is the lead singer for the band and Aaron plays drums. I was talking with them for about ten minutes after the show had ended. They are some of the funniest people I have ever met. They told me about everything they had done so far on their tour and all of the crazy things they have seen. This was the second time I got to see Palisades perform. Their band consists of members of many different ethnicities and they use that to empower themselves. They always talk about how racism has affected them and how it needs to stop because we are all the same and everyone is equal. They are a big inspiration to me because of how kind and generous they are to their fans. Their kindness inspires me to be nice to everyone, despite their color, weight, age, or just the way they are. I hope to see Palisades again sometime in the near future.
