1948 Tucker

My wife Peggy's brother invited us to see his friends' car collection. We had no idea how great it would be. Brent DuCoing, a painting contractor in his mid fortys has a collection of vintage cars, gas pumps, motorcycles and thousands of other items. The car collection alone would make Jay Leno green with envy. This picture is of a 1948 Tucker. One of only 52 built by Preston Tucker. Brent owns three of them. There are actually about 50 known to still exist. One was burned in a fire and the transmission of one was found in the Mississippi River.
He owns Number 2, Number 6 and Number 14. I'm not really a car guy but I found the collection amazing. Every classic year of corvette, all in mint condition. A complete vintage fully operational diner and gas station to walk through was incredible.

This 1948 Tucker is a classic, valued at about 1 million dollars.

The woman standing with the car is a 1954 classic wife...priceless.
