University

Today was my 1st day of my part time masters course in clinical research. Very exciting learning about how to get started in research! Newcastle is such a beautiful university. This is a photo of the grand student union building, much fancier than the ugly 70s building that I had as an undergraduate in Aberdeen! The large red brick, grade II listed building underwent an £8million renovation in 2011 to give great new services to students.

After my day at teaching, I went to meet my friend for tea at Quilliam brothers tea house. Having dinner with another friend tonight and having my favourite- haggis! :)
