Snow on the hills

A wonderful afternoon light along the Braid Hills Road gave me the chance to take this shot of snow on the distant Lammermuirs and Moorfoots. Cycled over to the hospital to visit a fellow cyclist who is in for a few days and was glad of the opportunity to be out in the sunshine after a morning doing incredibly boring but necessary housework. I am definitely programmed for the outdoors! Hope everyone else is enjoying this lovely sharp spell of weather .
