Bird on the roof

There were about 6 pied wagtails on the roof today. One would come down occasionally to drink the water on the decking. I think they are migrating south of the UK for the Winter as they are Summer residents in North Scotland.

It was very windy last night and first thing but it has eased now and there were periods of nice sunshine.

Went to the Puffin Pool first thing so I was out of the house by 7.30am, it was light but it wo nt be long until it will be dark when we leave.
