Mr Bojangles

I am uploading so many days late that I can't recall much of huge interest that happened. My routine was different from normal, but I don't think that you will be overly interested in that.

However I did read an piece about the song Mr Bojangles. The bloke who wrote it was thrown in jail for the night in New Orleans for being drunk and one of the blokes he shared the cell told his life story.

I love this song. And I think most people that have recorded it, have made it "theirs". But Nina Simone's version is perfect. But there is one thing that really really really annoys me about this song - the last 5 seconds. I cannot think of any song with a more incongruous ending.
