Leaf Map

It was Saturday and small things were accomplished.

I got to wondering about this leaf that we spotted. Why did the creature that climbed up and wandered around on this, not eat it? Did it climb up to get a better view of something? Is it a snail shellpark (the equivalent of a car park for snails)? Or is it, indeed, a blipping snail?
