Fashion Show!
Quite often when it's wet, we end up under cover at Crawley and visit County Mall. Quite often there will be an event going on and over the past couple of weeks or so, there has been an autumn fashion show.
A variety of clothes were showcased at each session (I saw 3 of the sessions) and all were available in the shops around about. It was interesting to see normal clothes being modelled as opposed to the often wierd and artistic creations you might see of the big fashion shows in glossy magazines. I was particularly taken by a very nice grey and orange Fair Isle pattern zip neck woolly jumper that came from a well known trendy Japanese store. Despite it being £59.00, it looked rather flat hanging up - when you see an item being worn it brings it alive so to speak. He had evidently got the only one that was a smaller size as those in the store were all XL or XXL when I looked!! Needless to say, I didn't go out and buy it but it was a very nice item. It was what I'd term an item that will never date - an investment piece for cold winter days.
Although not a perfect picture, I felt this particular model was very beautiful and the ensemble very neat. Amazing platform sandals! It's also a reminder that like art and music what we wear is often down to personal taste and can be highly individual.
