Chateau de Cheverny

On our way home we have stopped off near Blois with a view to visiting some chateaux tomorrow. Cheverny was passed this afternoon so we made it our first.
We came here many years ago when our daughters were quite young and can't remember it being open to the public or indeed as busy as it was today . It has the inevitable tourist shop and cafe . We did remember the kennels however and the rather fine pack of hunting dogs
