Ferntastic

I am still developing a deep shady area which we refer to as The Dell. Whilst researching plants which enjoy these conditions, I have become a real 'fernatic'! This is my favourite at the moment: Dryopteris Wallichianum. It brings drama and interest to a slope and is surrounded by hostas and Artemisia lactiflora. It is evergreen so it can be enjoyed all year round.
