Greek Wedding

We had been told about a little white church with a blue dome, situated around the bay on Cyprus Sunset point. So we set off early this evening to capture it at sunset, but when we got there we found a Greek wedding taking place. The church looked quite small but people kept streaming out of it and milling around on the reception area.

A group of young men went to their cars and returned with what looked like giant party poppers. As the bride and groom emerged these poppers exploded into steamers of metallic ribbons. There was a hail of rice, and I have got a pic of ladies picking the grains out of the brides hair (she didn't look too pleased!).

That's the third wedding we have seen here, it's a popular place for the "I do's"!
