autumn raspberries
It may have turned a wee bit cooler, and there is snow up on the Cairngorms (woo hoo!) but we are still harvesting our autumn raspberry crop. They are absolutely huge and very delicious! I made cinnamon pancakes this eve for our desert and filled them with creme fraiche and raspberries - yum! They got eaten far too quick to blip any, but luckily i'd got them while still on the bushes!
A has shifted yet more top soil today, and it's looking like we'll be able to put in a fruit cage this winter. I'll look forward to getting more of the fruit than the birds (notice the pecked one in this blip), tho have to say a young 4 5 year old eats most of the fruit as it's picked...so only a fraction of what the bushes produce ever makes it as far as the table!
