Autumnal sunshine

After a truly wet and windy autumnal morning, the sun came out :-) The view this evening is lovely as the sun catches the autumnal yellowing leaves.

I spent the morning in my studio, and then popped up to the school to check if xmas card designs were ready to be sent off. I think the school probably has no glitter left now given the amount that came off some of the cards!

After school C went to Chatterbooks at the library, where he sewed a bookbug. He's very proud of his effort. It is fab - well done him for doing sewing and managing it very well. D spent the whole time C was away enjoying playing lego on his own.

Now it's time for a nice hearty bowl of minestrone soup ...this wet windy morn it seemed just right for tea! Now we can pretend we are in Italy in the sunshine ...nearly :-)
