Hopetoun Monument

I had to take Twiglet to the vets this morning to have her teeth sorted :-(

On the way home, on the road between Longniddry and Drem, I saw a beautiful buzzard (or at least, I think it was a buzzard) sitting on top of a telephone pole so I stopped to take a blip - but of course, it flew away before I could take a pic.

As I got back into the car, I looked ahead of me and saw this stunning view of the Hopetoun Monument.

I went to the top of the monument a few years ago on Christmas Day with Jon (my ex) and the views from the top are amazing on a clear day.
