When one has walked down the same street for more than thirty years, the details recede into the background, that is until one develops "Blip vision". Suddenly, the details are everywhere. These famous characters have resided on the Trompe-l'œil facade of the now-closed movie theatre in Harvard Square for decades. As I walked past them this morning, they called out to me.
