Peacocks in the summer palace

Just outside of Bukhara is the Summer Palace Snitorai Makhi Khosa. It was built for the last Emir. It is an amazing mix of Russian and Asian architecture. At one time it must have been glorious, now it's glory is somewhat faded. It is now a museum and houses many treasures. Proud peacocks still wander the grounds as they did when the Emir escaped the soaring heat of the plains, (45 - 50 degrees).
I liked this peacock who looked very haughty................just right for a palace!
