Does anyone have a kite that I can borrow?
It's a peedie bit blowy. Not as blowy as it's due to get tomorrow. Now there's something to look forward to.
Having made the heroic effort of getting to the top of the garden to check the car for post, I was only over the road from the dunes so it would have been a wasted journey not to. This is the yucky sight that greeted me. Huge gobs of this foamy goo were being skimmed off the top and flung in my direction. Dis-gust-ing! I ran away, a fifty mile an hour blast shoving me along.
We've been clearing the 'goat-rooms' for the arrival of Salvo and Lilli. It's a bit like the Krypton Factor, the way you have to arrange and rearrange 'til you get the answer. Alas! Neither of us is bright enough to know what the answer looks like. If only there was a picture on the box.
I also baited the cat trap in an attempt to catch their mum. When I checked it just now it had been tripped. I went into the stable to retrieve it, only to find that I'd caught a hedgehog. It was a lovely present, but it wasn't what I asked for.
