Just about midnight
So exif reckons this was taken yesterday, does it? Well who am I to argue? (I'm obviously getting to bed earlier these days!)
There is so much wrong with this picture, like the fact that I left the hallway light on with the front door open and was resting the camera on ring binder for elevation while holding it in place with my thumbs (or 'making do' as plumbum calls it!) All things considered though, while it doesn't hold up to close scrutiny, I think that it worked quite well. It certainly looks as if my ram-shackled old sheds are exploding, which would be no bad thing.
We saw a very pregnant cat yesterday, not Lilli and Salvo's mum again surely, and fed her quite a bit. I set the trap for her in the stables but to no avail. When searching the sheds on the off chance, I did find a dead baby kitten. Holding that poor mite and checking it over was awful. I left it out just in case someone came back for it (fortunately we don't have rats) but I buried it just as the sun was setting. I've been checking the trap every four hours overnight. The dam needs some help and we want to make sure that she gets it. The CPL are poised and ready to assist.
Talking of Lilli and Salvo, the young man should be arriving this afternoon, followed shortly by his sister the morn. Their playroom is all set up for them.
Guess what my photo's are going to be of for the next couple of weeks?
