Crested China 12 - Fordingbridge, Hampshire

After a pretty awful day with rain for most of it and pretty hectic at work, an outdoor picture was pretty well out of the question.

This is a small piece in the collection. Fordingbridge is a small town on the extreme western edge of the New Forest in Hampshire. It stands beside the River Avon between Ringwood and Salisbury. Back in the 1980's it gained unwelcome publicity and shock when five people were murdered at a big house on the edge of the town. On a more happier note, Fordingbridge does have a good Ladies Hockey Team whom I once saw play Haslemere some years ago.
