After the late harvest

I didn't have time to go for a walk after work and the weather wasn't very promising although it was dry for a lot of the time unlike yesterday.

This picture was taken from a layby on the A29 north of Slinfold looking NE towards Town House Farm. The maize has recently been harvested and seems to be one of the last crops hereabouts to be harvested. Gone are the dry dusty fields to be replaced by soggy wet ones!
