How Much is That Doggy in the Window?

Training day today for the England team ahead of the weekend's competition. Their allocated hour was in the morning so a bunch of us wandered into Slavonski Brod town, spotting this doggy in the window along the way, and had a pleasant lunch. A wander back to the competition venue via some shops, an extended coffee break and all in time to get ready for the opening ceremony.

Ten teams competing this year - the home team Croatia, Slovenia, France, Czech republic, Bulgaria Italy, Norway, Holland, Belgium and England.

The opening ceremony consisted of the teams entering the arena to rousing music accompanied by huge cheers from the supporters, the playing of national anthems, speeches, entertainment and much renewing of acquaintances from previous meetings.

Time for a beer and a hotdog before adjourning for the evening.
