.... for school photo day. She's promised to keep her cardi on until the photos and not do a silly smile. I am pretty confident this will not be the alternative offering. She was cross with me today as I forgot to put the book she'd chosen in her bag. That said, I am hoping it will encourage the teacher to find a school book to give her and possibly even let her bring home as she's literally begging for one.

Hopefully, Granny and Grandad are joining us for a play and tea after school.

Edit: G&G joined mummy in time to pick Katie up from school, to her delight. She insisted they join us for a quick pit stop at the sweet shop. At home she proceeded to tell us how she had her turn today to talk about her folder- they've been doing "about me" folders as homework and each child has done a little q&a on the stage in the classroom. Today was her turn. she talked about her family, our holiday to Australia, monkey, ballet and was very brave.
