Pleasant smudge

Talk about variety in weather today! In the morning a couple of hours of bright sunshine with a -20°C cold, the midday grey and oppressive, and the afternoon a full-blown snowfall with wind, once again.

The temperature got slightly warmer and the snow was fine-grained and wet. Right now I'm so glad I don't have a car, it would be terribly risky out there.

Gusts of snow eddied in the city as I paid a visit to the shops in the afternoon. It was visually very interesting, but hard to photograph safely. And so, after a while the auto-focus of my Sony jammed into blur mode. But somehow this matched the opacity of the weather, so I took some shots this way.

Let's hope the glitch doesn't cost me another visit to the camera repair shop - I recently got the pocket camera fixed for 90 euros. Well, it's the user who's first and foremost to blame this time...

And the location? This is a view into the inner yard of Tampere Student Union building.
