Hawthorn Berries
Title says it all.
Had to 'pop' to the phlebotomist late morning today. I saw her last week, early on Wednesday when I was due to have blood taken for two tests. Between filling one tube and putting on the next my blood stopped, nothing unusual unfortunately. Both arms were tried and one hand but no luck and for the second test a whole tube, 3.5ml was required!
Went back today and my right arm gave up half of the 3.5ml before drying up so she tried the left arm with the thought that if the other half came out of this arm then two bottles could be sent off but surprise surprise my arm gave up the full 3.5ml in one go!!!!! She made me look, it doesn't bother me as I am so used to needles being raked round in my arm, and I mentioned blip, she would have been only too happy for me to take a photo but my camera was at work and my phone in the car. The plan is to take a photo at the next test.
Went back to work tired, ha ha, after parting with so much blood :-)
Back to the berries, does it mean there is going to be a cold winter if there are lots of berries?
