No 170: Greenshank

If the Avocet is the Audrey Hepburn of the Bird world, as my Blipfriend DaveH maintains, then surely the Greenshank is the Lesley Caron.
We had another pleasant day at Minsmere. It began with some good sightings of Bearded Tits, but then it got quite windy and the birds hunkered down. At least it stayed dry and sunny. We still saw some nice birds and even got a glimpse of the Little Crake which is a species that hasn't been seen at Minsmere since 1973.
We had an excellent meal on the way back to the cottage, so all in all, another lovely day.
